9/12

I know I should probably spend my efforts writing something big and heartfelt to honor the victims of 9/11, but I have decided not to.   Don't get me wrong, my heart goes out to everybody who was affected by that most bleak of days, but there is enough out there to remind us of that day, I don't really need to share my feelings, because I'm sure they are the same as yours.  We were all profoundly affected that day, not for the worse but for the better.  That day I was part of a family 300 million strong. We became more empathetic, compassionate and patriotic because of that day.  I do not wish to dwell on the dreadful, too many in this world do.  It has been ten years.  The time for mourning has passed, let us move forward with hope being the best Americans, the best people we can be.  If we can do that, the august price paid by so many that September morning will not have been in vain.  I have no more to say on that.

That's it for now folks.  I know it's short but that's all I have for now.  I will probably right a full post next week.
